Second Flora Microgreens is an ethical, sustainable, and affordable company doing what others haven't: revolutionizing foods with nutrient-packed microgreens one bite at a time. In 2021, we started growing and selling microgreens at farmers markets in Asheville, North Carolina. We discovered a shocking number of people didn’t know about microgreens - their versatility, flavor, and nutrient-density is incomparable. So we decided to create fun, new products using microgreens that we haven’t seen done before. Our mission is simple. We believe finding healthy products with high-quality ingredients should be accessible to everyone. We’re fueled by our passion for health, wellness, and cooking; we believe living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to come with a high price tag. How are we different? From seed to harvest to recipe creation, we own the process 100% of the way. At our core, we’re farmers - we grow and care for all of the microgreens used in our products. We operate an indoor, fully controlled farm—with zero use of pesticides, herbicides, or additives—making it cleaner and more sustainable than organic.
