About Kim Fox Jewelry Design

In Phoenix, Arizona in the late 1900s I started creating jewelry. I attended classes at the community college and museums. I decided the second half of my life would be lived creating jewelry. With this in mind, I looked for more education and when I found it, I sold my house and many of my belongs and moved. Carlsbad, California was my first stop, I spent a year and a half at The Gemological Institute of America. While I was there, I earned certificates in wax carving, jewelry design, computer aided design and gemology. I then moved to San Francisco to learn more about traditional design and manufacturing from Alan Revere and his instructors. The last 23 years have been an incredible experience. I have won national and international design awards. Been through highs and lows during the economic and international health situation. Have moved back to my home state Arizona where I live in a rural area near Phoenix, Prescott and Sedona. My work serves several groups of people. The first are galleries and stores that are looking for jewelry for both their male and female clients. Durable, wearable and beautiful as well as unique. Designers also find my unique findings add to their work. I call it lifestyle jewelry. I design using my camera, sketchbook, my hands and my computer. I work in partnership with Silver Cloud Casting in Albuquerque.
