About The Friendly Monster

The Friendly Monster is a children's clothing brand - for both young and old - where you can find overalls and accessories like blouses and t-shirts. As an illustrator and stylist, I trained in Print Textile Design to create my own fabrics, drawing all sorts of characters, dinosaurs, and tropical plants inspired by the eighties. These patterns are then printed on fabrics from which I craft unique pieces made in Belgium. You will find a poetic universe straight out of Charles Darwin's cabinet, between beetle curiosities and Jurassic, all immersed in lush and colorful vegetation. From the desire to offer a unisex collection with ethical values, but above all the desire to enhance the textile industry by raising consumer awareness of the work done on a garment, The Friendly Monster pushes the reflection beyond clothing by offering a range of zero-waste accessories.
