“Jus’ Shake It Cajun Seasoning “ The seasoning was created and blended by Carl and Jessica Guillory. We were born and raised in South Louisiana “Cajun Country “. For the love of cooking with family and friends is in our daily culture. In the rural area of “Cajun Country” there is a unique Mardi Gras tradition called’ Courir de Mardi Gras which is Cajun French for ‘ Fat Tuesday Run’. The tradition of chasing chickens started by men on horseback dressed in costumes and mask, riding through prairies and small towns of South Louisiana “Cajun country”. For the love of our culture, we chose to make the running of the chicken our logo. Men dressed up wearing Mardi Gras beads and Mardi Gras colors.... Purple, green and gold.
