I'm Kalee, the owner and sole maker behind Wax Canvas Co. My company began as a passion project to create a guilt-free candle that smelled amazing and could be burned freely in my home around my fragrance-sensitive loved ones. I quickly found myself obsessed with the art of fragrance and the way scents have the unique ability to evoke emotions and capture memories. Today, my company's mission is to share the joy of fragrance with the world in a healthy and sustainable way. I believe that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, which reflects in both my ingredients lists and packaging. This not only minimizes the impact on the environment, but keeps the focus on what's inside for a truly elevated experience. I personally create each product by hand in my small batch studio in beautiful, rural New Jersey. I chose pure and natural food-grade soy wax as well as cotton wicks for my candles - avoiding paraffin, dyes and lead altogether. My perfumes are preservative, paraben and toxin-free. All of my fragrances are carefully selected to ensure they don't contain any phthalates or carcinogens and are blended with essential oils to gently uplift your mood without overwhelming your senses. ​I can't wait to share them with you!Read their story
