Storchenwiege – Carrying with Tradition, Quality from Germany Storchenwiege is one of the oldest baby wrap brands in Germany – founded in 1996 by textile engineer Günter Schwartzer. Inspired by the birth of his granddaughter, he developed a diagonally elastic fabric that carries babies safely and comfortably. Production has since been regional in Saxony – with short delivery routes, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, and durable, pollutant-free materials. In 2009, his daughters took over the company and expanded it as a family business with heart and a commitment to quality. Storchenwiege works closely with midwives, babywearing consultants, and specialist retailers to offer parents the best possible support. Since 2024, the next generation has been leading the brand: Philipp and Michele Loll – themselves parents of two babywearing children – bring fresh ideas, eCommerce experience, and a clear vision for sustainable growth.
