About Numri Design

NuMri Design is founded by Brother Sister Duo who aims to fill the gap in the market for Handmade and Handcrafted products filled with Nepalese and Tibetan ancient arts and techniques which are highly inspired by the concept of spirituality. We work directly with the producer and assist in all aspects of design and production. Num Ri is a mountain in the Khumbu region of the Nepalese Himalayas and being highly influenced by the calmness and positive vibe, we decided to name our shop NumRi to show appreciation for belonging to a small place. Our goal is to ensure that these traditional crafts remain viable in the 21st century and beyond by continuing to find markets for these traditional goods. Handicraft has been embedded in Nepali and Tibetan lifestyle and culture and is famous around the world. These unique skills were passed down by their ancestors, which has helped preserve the heritage cultural values, aspects, and traditions. Our story is the story of local producers and all of you who believe in preserving and appreciating this ancient craftsmanship the communities bring sustainability.Read their story
