About Flourish Paperworks

We started Flourish Paperworks in 2014 and in 2020 we turned it into a social enterprise and decided to put our established business to good use in the community. We have an employment programme for women leaving the criminal justice system and recovering from serious hardship. Our mission is to provide life changing opportunities for women, through selling illustrated stationery and gifts that uplift and celebrate women. Women join our business after leaving prison, recovering from addiction, or experiencing homelessness. They earn a living wage helping to make & pack orders and gain qualifications to set them up for the future. Above all, women get to experience the joy of life in a small business & the sense of pride that comes with being a valued member of a supportive team who want you to succeed. Here are some words from a colleague on our employment programme: "I feel like I now have a purpose. This process has been very important to me as I'd lost the confidence in thinking I could work again" Everything you see here have been lovingly conceptualised, illustrated and brought to life by our in-house team in Devon. Our illustrations are created as collections (such as our 'Peaceful Night' & 'In Bloom' ranges). They celebrate women with empowering messages of growth, joy, friendship & solidarity.
