Single origin Japanese teas from eight Kyushu family farms. Traceable, broker-free, direct to you. KyuTeaCo was born from years of living in rural Fukuoka, Japan and learning the land, the seasons, and the families who have tended Kyushu's tea gardens for generations. Those relationships, built over two decades, are the heart of everything we do. We work directly with eight family farms across all seven prefectures of Kyushu, Japan's southernmost main island and one of its most storied tea regions. Every tea is single-origin and traceable to a specific farm and family, brought to you without a broker or blending facility in between. We offer Matcha, Powdered Hojicha, our signature Powdered Genmaicha, the only one of its kind available anywhere and our newest addition, Takema-cha, a loose leaf Sencha from Kumamoto. We are excited to be bringing more loose leaf teas and artisanal offerings from the island. Tea is the entry point. Kyushu culture, its farms, its people, its seasons, make it the destination.
