Retirement from the fire department by Shawn, and a desire to live in the Pacific Northwest brought the new owners of Puget Sound Coffee to the area West of Seattle. Dawn got a job as a 911 dispatcher and Shawn began enjoying retirement life. While discussing the possibility of opening a coffee shop, the opportunity to purchase Puget Sound Coffee came along in 2018. Dawn jumped in headfirst, rebranding and developing new blends. Dawn is the company roaster and finds it to be the perfect de-stresser. A majority woman-owned, small-batch roaster in Poulsbo, WA, Puget Sound Coffee strives to make delicious, freshly roasted coffee accessible to everyone. This is our love language.Read their story
