No artistic skills? No problem. THE PICTO PROCESS: 1. PLACE the fabric over the open shape. 2. PUSH the wood piece into the open shape. 3. CUT off the extra fabric. Picto Kits' husband & wife founders, Alyssa & Nick, have taken their unique and complimentary skills to start Picto Kits. Alyssa graduated from FIDM LA and spent 3 years in the fashion industry where she all the fabric wasted during clothing production. She knew this fabric could be used for good. All the fabrics used in each Picto Kit would otherwise have been thrown away. Nick has both Industrial Engineering & film degrees which brings the practical and creative together from sorting out production flow to website design. UP-CYCLED The fabrics in our kits are designer cutoff remnants from Los Angeles, CA that would otherwise be thrown away after clothing production.
