Modern Hobbyist began as a creative outlet for hobby enthusiast, Celine DeMaesschalck. In 2016, she started creating watercolor maps of the wine regions she was studying and began selling them, along with other goods, to "support her hobby habit." Her captivating mixed media maps became top sellers and she started to focus solely on painting wine maps.
