Her mother taught her to chop, mix, and prepare meals for loved ones, emphasizing the importance of plating, table settings, and passing down Italian recipes through the generations. Food became Linda’s passion, a creative outlet and way to socialize. She pursued learning through local culinary schools and cooking classes in Tuscany, immersing herself in old-world techniques. These classes included trips to cheese makers, vineyards, and long lunches under olive groves. Driven by her belief that every day must be lived to the fullest, Linda launched Calizo Condiments, using family recipes and focusing on healthy Mediterranean-based products. Her Calabrian and Tuscan heritage inspired unique olive mixtures, herbs, spices, and creative seasoning blends. Her love for cooking and entertaining also led her to study etiquette at the Washington School of Protocol, which she incorporated into Calizo’s party planning and hospitality.
