Hello there! Thanks for pausing to learn about us and our candles! 7th Street Salvage began as an architectural salvage business in Macon, GA. We opened our second location to expand our hand poured candle line and gift shop. We began making candles in 2018 when looking for different ways to reuse our reclaimed scrap wood. Each piece of wood is personally salvaged from old homes and buildings, primarily in the Macon, GA and central Georgia region. As we like to say, "old things have soul," and the stories these pieces of wood have, speaks volumes. We custom make each of our lids in our woodworking studio. Our candles are hand poured in our gift shop with a focus on high quality, sustainable, and reusable materials. Our wax is a blend of soy, coconut, and beeswax. We use lead-free, cotton wicks, and phthalate-free oils. Our large candles are poured in a beautiful pale blue-green recycled glass jar. When finished with your candle, our jars are designed to be drinking glasses! We also custom blend each or our scents, so you'll always have a unique scent in your store. Whether it is thinking about Grandma's cast iron sink, or sitting in a library reading old books and drinking coffee, we want each of our candles to transport you to another place.
