About Polka Dot Pines
Amanda Whippen is the owner and maker of Polka Dot Pines. She is a mother of three and wife of fifteen years. When she's not sewing, you can find her teaching as a nurse educator for a large hospital system and a nurse professor for a local college. Her love of sewing first began after her husband gifted her a sewing machine for her 30th birthday. After seeing a large need for masks and scrub caps on her nursing unit at the onset of the pandemic, Amanda decided to put her self-taught sewing skills to work and so Polka Dot Pines was created!

So glad to have found this local vendor on Faire! I ordered the hot/cold packs for our farm stand/gift shop for the Christmas shopping season. I was so impressed with the quality when they arrived, and I loved how they were packaged. We ended up selling out so I have ordered more, and I can't wait to see the new fabric patterns when they arrive. I highly recommend these products and this vendor!
