About Taste of Latin America

Hello! And a warm welcome to Taste of Latin America I'm Carolina, and like most Peruvians, I'm passionate about food, tastes, smells, and the right ingredients. The Latin American cuisines are full of flavor and use spices in quantities that would make any grandmother blush. But it is precisely in the strong aromas that the passion lies, and perhaps that is the reason why gastronomy is very close to Latin American hearts. Hence Taste of Latin America When I came to Denmark 14 years ago, I couldn't do without Latin American - and especially Peruvian - food. And when I found that many of my favorite ingredients were almost impossible to get hold of in these latitudes, I decided to import them myself. Back in 2014, it became the starting point for Taste of Peru, as the business was then christened. However, I was quickly met by an interest that extends far beyond Peru's borders and a demand for ingredients from all over Latin America. After a continuous natural expansion of the business, it is today called Taste of Latin America. Through this, I am so privileged to be able to share my passion for food with local Latin American and Danish and European food enthusiasts and restaurants who, like me, love Latin American cuisines.
