A Blonde and Her Bag was started in 2013 from Kaylin’s 1-bedroom apartment in Santa Barbara, CA with a dream of wanting more. Kaylin needed a gift for a girlfriend for her birthday and had little money to buy one. She ended up at a local bead store, and the sales woman suggested she make something. Having never made any jewelry before, after hours on YouTube, and lots of trial and error she finally produced a beautiful necklace. Fearful her friend wouldn't like the handmade gift she wrapped it up real pretty and said she got it at a fancy boutique. To her surprise her friend loved it, and wanted not only more, but her friend wanted to get more as gifts for her friends and family. She told them she had made it and she had instant customers. Now, 9 Years later, A Blonde and Her Bag jewelry is sold to customers across the United States and internationally.Read their story
