Paper Worthy Company was founded in 2020 by Alicia Wood, a Canadian black female product designer. Currently based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Paper Worthy Company was started from a hobby near and dear to her heart, bookbinding. She combines the world of textiles and paper to create unique stationery products. Her signature product is a hardcover notebook covered in touchable textile. All products are handmade with love in small batches using modern twists on traditional techniques. She believes there is power in putting your thoughts on paper. Paper Worthy Company aims to be the space where people feel most comfortable putting their personal thoughts and encouraging others to do the same.
