About Miraculously Made Candle Co

Miraculously Made Candle Co was established in 2022, but our story began long before the LLC was filed or ever thought of. Owner, Latrica Okoro's love for candles began during her college years. She was not allowed to burn candles in her dorm room but once she moved off campus to her first apartment the search for the perfect inviting home scent became one of her missions to achieve. She would achieve this buy washing her walls down to wash out the old and began anew. She cleaned her home, but there was still something missing. She experimented with air fresheners and plug ins but the scents were faint and they dissipated quickly. Latrica began purchasing candles from the main stream retailers such as Walmart and Bath & Body Works. For years she used their products because they smelled good. One day she came upon an article regarding air emissions and products such as paraffin wax could be harmful to our indoor air. After learning about that Latrica attempted cleaner solutions such as soy candles or beeswax candles, her obsession with buying good candles was becoming expensive. After researching how to make candles, candling became a hobby she enjoyed often. The process of creating candles and mixing fragrances acted as therapy for her. At the end of 2021 Latrica vowed that she would turn her then hobby into a business. She wanted to do something she loved. She loved making candles and making people happy. Read their story
