Swaplights is a handmade brand specializing in unique, decorative night lights. Every Swaplights cover is meticulously designed, laser cut, and assembled in my tiny backyard studio in Seattle, Washington. The patent-pending Swaplights system combines a dusk-to-dawn sensor LED night light with interchangeable decorative covers in hundreds of designs that shoppers love to collect. How it works: Your customer buys a "Starter Kit" which includes the night light and a cover. Then they can create their own bundle of swappable covers without needing to purchase a new light base. Add our retail display with an integrated power strip, giving your customers a hands-on experience to test out swapping the covers and see the brightly lit designs for themselves. On my direct-to-consumer website, I see a $53 Average Order Value, with a 20% Returning Customer Rate. The most popular combination is an “everyday” night light kit bundled with their favorite seasonal covers to swap out throughout the year. New designs drop quarterly to keep your inventory fresh and keep them coming back for more! To help minimize our footprint, we save the flexible acrylic scraps left over from cutting the colorful backgrounds of our night light designs and upcycle them into fun, durable bookmarks. These bookmarks are donated directly to Reading Heart to be tucked inside the books they distribute, ensuring our leftover materials stay out of the landfill and go straight into the hands of a young reader.Read their story
