About El Norteño

We’ve been making jerky for a while, but it wasn’t until we saw a messaging problem that we took it seriously. Despite our Wisconsin roots, we grew up on our father's native Mexican cuisine. Jerky brands offered flavors our family grew up on, but they struggled to connect with us. Then one day we learned Hispanic Americans feel more disconnected from big brands than ever before. That got us thinking. What if a jerky brand showcased our culture and flavors more prominently? We went for it, and El Norteño was born.Read their story
