Our Story Hi, I’m Martha, the heart and hands behind Marland Candle Co. What started as a creative escape soon grew into a heartfelt small business, rooted in warmth, nostalgia, and a deep love for home scents. I’ve been married to my husband for nearly 16 years. We met through mutual friends while he was stationed at Fort Hood with the U.S. Army, and since then, life has been a blend of adventure, quiet moments, and shared dreams. Together with our German Shepherd, Crockett, and two mischievous cats Clark and Stella, we like to spend vacations road-tripping to historic sites, and going on cruises, but we absolutely love coming back home to the cozy comfort we’ve created. Our candles and wax melts are made with clean-burning coconut, soy, and sunflower waxes, hand-poured in small batches with safe, high-quality ingredients. We believe scent should elevate your space, not overwhelm it, inviting calm, memory, and meaning into your daily rituals. Whether you’re lighting a candle after a long day, freshening your home with a room spray, or curating a thoughtful gift for someone special, we hope our creations bring you the same joy and comfort they bring to us.
