Archive Knitwear was founded by designer Deanna DeRouchey, who learned to knit at twelve and turned a lifelong love of the craft into a modern knitwear brand carried by independent boutiques and retailers including Anthropologie. Inspired by New England winters, Scandinavian simplicity, and vintage knitwear, Archive creates timeless pieces with a focus on exceptional fibers and thoughtful craftsmanship. At the heart of our collection is our signature 100% merino wool yarn, custom made exclusively for Archive. Buttery soft, warm, and never itchy, it gives our hand-knit pieces their distinctive texture and beautiful stitch definition. Made in small quantities with a slower, more intentional approach, Archive Knitwear is designed to be worn, loved, and kept season after season.
