About Definite Chocolate

We are a bean-to-bar craft chocolate maker, producing luxury dark chocolate without any additives. By sourcing directly from local producers, we use only ethically-grown, single-origin cacao to produce our unique chocolates. By ensuring each bar only uses cacao from a single estate, we maximise the tastes and tones of our chocolate. These unique flavours are what make our chocolate so distinctive. Founded in 2016, we are a small family-owned business and the first bean-to-bar chocolate maker in the Dominican Republic. In a country long-renowned for growing the highest quality cacao in the world, it wasn’t until we started that the country had its first bean-to-bar producer, and we became the first local producer to win international awards at the Academy of Chocolate and the annual Singapore Chocolate Awards. Having recently expanded to the UK we want to bring our brand to the world. We make our bars with attention to every detail, and we think it shows. Our chocolate carries a premium price not just because of its quality, but because of the time and care that is taken to ensure perfection in every step – from the selection of the beans at the farm, to the pristine packaging of the final bar. All done in made-to-order micro batches. Customers would not be buying any-old supermarket chocolate made in volume, but investing in a small business - and getting high quality chocolate to boot.
