DANIELE AND LINO, THE SO-CALLED VESUVIAN MONKS, REPRESENT THE VERY SOUL OF THE BEER FIRM For over ten years, the two professionals, already established and accomplished in their respective fields, decided to follow their shared passion: brewing beer. Their brewing attempts improved with experience, and the results began to show with beers of decent quality that delighted the palates of friends and acquaintances. In 2010, there was a decisive turning point, and the commitment became much more substantial. In 2011, they participated in the Microbrewery Entrepreneurial Project, where the presentations by the owners of the Major Italian Breweries outlined the path to follow in their minds. In 2012, they attended a beer tasting course in Campania, where they earned the title of Professional Taster. The course was excellently structured, with experience and professionalism. Suffice it to say that from the participants of that course, two breweries, a beer shop, and a beer firm would emerge. It was during that course that the Monks shared their story and production method: "In the winter weekends, whenever possible, the monks retreat to a secret and isolated place in the Cilento countryside, in a quiet house surrounded by nature. Upon hearing the story, someone exclaimed, 'You are really crazy!' another said, 'No, they remind me of those ancient Cistercian monks who brewed beer.'
