Our story began when during the height of COVID, Jamar Tolentino created the AWAKEN Breath Pod while navigating his own struggle with anxiety. Seeking natural, non-medicinal ways to find calm, he discovered the powerful combination of aromatherapy and mindful breathing. Inspired by this relief, he crafted a custom scent for the AWAKEN Breath Pod and began sharing it with friends and family. Betty Chang was one of the friends that he shared the AWAKEN pod with, and she immediately loved the scent and recognized the importance of aromatherapy. Personally, it's helped her with stress, anxiety, and even nausea when traveling. She excitedly joined Gratitude Scents with hopes of sharing it with many others. Together, Jamar and Jill Tolentino, and Betty Chang, ground the company on a simple goal based on their personal experiences - to inspire gratitude through mindful and intentional breath work and meditation.
