About Brittney Rice Studio

Hi! I'm Brittney Rice. I established my business, Brittney Rice Studio, shortly after graduating college with my BFA degree in painting and drawing in 2017. After working in retail for many years, I finally took the leap to pursue my passion as an artist full-time in 2021. I primarily work out of my home studio in Kentucky, and at art festivals where I sell original oil paintings, prints and other creations. Through my art I draw inspiration from the world around me. However, I do not like to stay in one lane. I paint everything from realistic Kentucky-based art, and horse-racing, to surrealistic landscapes and even colorful abstract paintings! I love working with smooth brush strokes and glazes, while using a vibrant color palette with subtle hints of neon oil paint or interference shimmer paint. I'm dedicated to creating interesting and timeless art that will bring joy to any space! If I'm not in my studio or at an art festival, you can find me spending time with my family and two Siberian Huskies somewhere in the heart of Kentuckiana. Read their story
