About The Brightside Box

I created The BRIGHTSIDE Box because I want people to be encouraged and uplifted while fighting cancer. When I was diagnosed in 2016, I was consistently encouraged by my family, friends, and co-workers. I was told I was brave, I was strong, and I was going to live. These words resonated with me, especially late at night when it was quiet, and I was alone. In the quiet, fear and anxiety would keep me up, but I learned how to stop the overwhelm by writing. I wrote words of strength and hope in my journal. Writing these words and reading them over and over did something remarkable - they stuck! I began to believe these words, and I became them. I became brave, strong, and determined to live. I want this for other people. I want people to be surrounded by positive statements because I know it works.
