I'm Manuel. I was born and live in the Canary Islands. I have worked as a marketing consultant and am fond of surfing, windsurfing, skiing, snowboarding and sports that allow me to enjoy the outdoors, nature and friends. One day in 2017, after seeing that there were no quality shirts with a direct and cheerful reference to the Canary Islands and the spirit that defines them; nature, beauty by the sea and a paradise for sports, I decided that I should do something. I started by designing a logo that represented my beloved islands, and decided that a subtropical fruit as typically Canarian as banana would be a good basis for doing so. After several tests, we decided as a team, for the design of the half-peeled banana that represents our brand. We began to incorporate our label to very high quality t-shirts and sell them through multi-brand stores on the island of Lanzarote. We became the best-selling brand in each of them, which encouraged us to expand our catalogue with caps, shorts and sweatshirts.
