About Monnerville Clothing Ltd

My name is Pierre Monnerville, founder of the ethical athleisure menswear label Monnerville. I founded the brand because when I was a teenager growing up in Paris, I was always warned not to walk around with sportswear on to avoid being stopped by the police and asked for an ID. Now I’m grateful to get to design the sportswear inspired clothes I wish I had when I was younger. The clothes are primarily aimed at men who enjoy understated, smart casual quality basics. That’s why the collection is very minimalist with a few carefully designed details. We either use 100% organic cotton or blend it with recycled polyester for our sweatshirts and joggers. Our flagship top, called Urban Jersey is crafted in West London and covered by a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. The rest of the collection is made in Bangladesh under the supervision of the FairWear Foundation and embroidered in the Northern England. Monnerville aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development goals and donates a portion of each sale to the social enterprise B1G1 to finance projects all over the world.Read their story
