About Jenna Gagnier

Founded in 2019, Jenna Gagnier is a line of ethically-produced clothing and accessories, all of which carry with them a history of their own. Every JG piece is made using vintage or secondhand materials sourced locally and is crafted out of an original minimal-waste-producing handmade pattern. These production choices tell the story of not only each piece’s crafting, from sketch to garment, but also the life of the materials used before this new iteration. As the present wearer becomes part of the history, the cycle is continued. The renewal we witness here never needs to end, like an heirloom quilt passed down and patched up over the course of many generations. I aim to create a semblance of such precious artifacts in my work. I encourage responsible consumption by recommending the investment of fewer, high-quality, longer-lasting items. My goal is to create timeless and cherishable pieces, ensuring a focus toward a truly sustainable future for all. Read their story
