Panoptx was founded in 1997 by Dr. Rudolph Kopfer, a pioneer of protective eyewear. To master the science of fit, Dr. Kopfer conducted an in-depth study of the facial bones on hundreds of skulls. By the late 1990's, 7eye by Panoptx eyewear had expanded from ski goggle alternative to motorcycle, fishing, safety, and the dry eye market.
