TeamWork Tea = the fair tea subscription. We are the Tony Chocolonely of tea: we bring quality tea directly from the plantation to our subscribers' mailbox (short chain) and give our female tea pickers in Sri Lanka a fair salary. At TeamWork Tea, tea costs what it should cost, if no one is exploited and no nature and plantations are exhausted. All our teas are hand-picked, organic, fair trade, in plastic-free tea bags and we are affiliated with the Nona foundation. This foundation is committed to giving disadvantaged girls and young women in Sri Lanka who are victims of sexual violence and exploitation a promising life. With TeamWork Tea, we keep our production chain as short as possible. For example, the producers in Sri Lanka mainly earn from tea, rather than retail chains in the Netherlands. In addition, due to the short lines with Sri Lanka, we have more control over the quality: with us you will not find a machine-harvested tea that damages the tea plant and especially produces twigs instead of tea.
