About Balivernes éditions

Balivernes is a small independent publisher specializing in books for young people. Each of our works is chosen because we liked the proposal of the author and the illustrator and we wanted to share this crush. Therefore, we have always wanted to be constrained neither by the latest trends nor by a theme that is too precise. We seek to publish modern books, which appeal to the reader and develop their imagination, focusing on creativity, focusing on humor, play and dreams, while being open to today's world and its complexity. Two other important axes of our editorial policy are the discovery of new French or foreign talents and the search for new graphic or literary universes. Finally, our wish is to never forget that children are our readers and that our role is to give them books that will help them grow.
