Our partners and founders are the anonymous customers who express their needs to us at street level, in major cities, and almost always inside the main fashion or perfume stores in the city. To them we owe our best creations. WE ARE NEGATIVE IN PLASTICS In partnership with RePurpose Global, we are committed to recycling and reusing twice as many units of environmental plastic waste that we generate per product unit. In this way, we promote the circular economy and the sustainability of our processes. MIA Y MIU x REPURPOSE GLOBAL We are proud to announce that we have the Plastic Negative Certification. We have partnered with RePurpose Global to finance the recovery and ethical processing of twice the plastic waste linked to nature that we use in our packaging. By contributing to the RePurpose Project (Laut Yang Tenang), we facilitate access to better waste management infrastructure in communities in West Java, (Indonesia). Indonesia has a plastic recycling rate of only 12%. Plastic bags are of little value and waste collectors need incentives to ethically collect and process this plastic. The funding of this project makes it feasible for collectors to ensure that it is carried to its best final destination.Read their story
