About Zwïta

Zwïta was born out of the underrepresentation of Tunisian culture in the United States; particularly with regards to food despite the explosion in Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and more recently North African food categories over the past decade. Founded by two Tunisian American brothers and named after their great grandmother, Zwïta is on a quest to enlighten the world about their Tunisian roots through artisanal food products that are representative of their family heritage. Zwïta's products are delicious, raw and unapologetic replicas of what the founders grew up with. In its short year and a half of existence, Zwïta has been blessed to be featured in Taste, Food & Wine, Houston Chronicle, Wine Enthusiast and can be found in roughly 30 retail locations in the US. As Tunisian Americans, the founders always felt that our store shelves should represent the diversity and richness of the US and Zwïta's products can help you do just that in your International foods aisles!
