It all began at a women’s leadership retreat. Someone had been stung by an insect, so I reached into my bag and handed her a bug bite suction tool, a pimple patch to seal the spot, and a Benadryl. Everyone looked at me like I’d just performed magic. I laughed and explained that I always carry my own “in case kit” — a small bag I put together years ago with everything I might need for life’s little surprises. The next day, the group asked me to unpack it for everyone, and soon after, they all wanted one of their own. Their excitement inspired me to create The In Case Kit — a thoughtfully designed, ready-to-go version of the bag I’ve carried for years. My goal is simple: to give others the same peace of mind that comes from being prepared, and the joy of being able to help someone else when they need it most.
