ARIDO - THE TRADITIONAL COMPANY Arido is a traditional Austrian company in the shirt and blouse sector. Since the company was founded, customers have relied on our fashion expertise, high quality awareness, good service, flexibility, Austrian design and European production. Arido originally emerged from the wholesale operations of J.M. Fussenegger Textilwerke when the wholesale company Heinz Ginzel & Co. was founded in 1942, in the middle of World War II. After just a few years, the company had 100 employees and started producing men's shirts, blouses and women's underwear in Mariahilferstrasse in Vienna. The enormous need to catch up after the war made it necessary to expand and relocate the production facilities. A used factory building was acquired in Wiener Neustadt. From 1956, the company was operating under the name Arido Heinz Ginzel & Co., and since 1998 under ARIDO Apparel GmbH & Co. KG. In November 1999, the Belvedere brand was taken over with the neckties and scarves product groups. In 2002, operational activities were outsourced and the company Arido Hemden Manufaktur GmbH was founded.
