Our vegetable gold (capim dourado) bio-jewels have been handcrafted in Brazil since 2004. On this date, a family of Brazilian artisans began to conceive and manufacture beauty accessories by hand thanks to the “golden grass”, the famous Capim Dourado or vegetable gold. Capim Dourado is their only source of income, and that of more than 50 families in the Jalapão region. Our difference: all the metallic pieces used in vegetable gold bio-jewelry are plated with 3 microns of gold and without the use of nickel (hypoallergenic vegetable gold jewelry). All Capim Dourado Biojouries comply with European laws. In addition, all seeds are treated and all stones are natural. They are vegetable gold semi-jewels!
