About County Line Acres

How did County Line Acres start? We (my husband, children and myself) started off with getting into the art of homesteading. I always wanted a small hobby farm due to my love of farm animals! This was the original creation behind our name. Homesteading opened up research and opportunities on how to introduce less toxins to our outside environment, our home and our physical self. We learned how to utilize what our homestead had to offer which led us on the journey to expand County Line Acres into more than just a homesteading farm. How did you get into making candles? * Our family has always enjoyed scented candles. After years of buying candles and wax melts etc, We would get so frustrated when we couldn't enjoy the products we bought. You could barely could smell the fragrance from the candle or wax melt (if you even could at all). The candle would only burn down the middle leaving so much unused wax. The aesthetically pleasing candle jar would turn black all around the top and leave black soot of our walls. After researching the kinds of wax, fragrance oils and other items that go along with candles and wax melts. We decided to put our research to use and become chandlers. Read their story
