About Creme De La Candle

I’ve always been a designer and carpenter at heart, creating with my hands, building from the ground up, and taking on labor-intensive projects that push both creativity and strength. Making things has always been how I express myself. Living with lupus changed the pace of how I could create. It asked me to slow down in ways I didn’t expect, but instead of seeing that as an ending, I chose to see it as a pivot. Candlemaking became a new way to create with intention. A way to keep building, just differently. Where my body needed rest, my creativity found a new outlet, one that still allowed me to pour care, craftsmanship, and purpose into every piece. Each candle represents resilience, adaptability, and the beauty of finding light in a new form.
