About JANAT PARIS

The JANAT legend began in 1872 in the heart of Provence in France. The founder Jean Dores traveled from the port of Marseille all over the world and brought back tea, coffee, and cocoa. During Mr. Dores' trip, and without modern communication tools, no one knew when he was coming home and only his two cats “Sam” and “Beau” always felt the presence of their owner and were waiting for him at the door precisely on the day he returned. They are considered lucky by many customers in France and Japan. At the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1889, JANAT tea was served while Janat Dores was an investor and friend of Gustave Eiffel.
