About Smallwoods Studios

In 2019, Alabama fiber artist Tamara Harper established Smallwoods Studios with the belief that little things make a big difference. Harper designs unique, resuable embroidery hot iron transfers for the DIY crafting community. In her years of teaching hand embroidery workshops, Harper has curated a small collection of easy-to-use hot iron transfer patterns with detailed instructions and suggested DMC color palate. Harper also sews at the machine, repurposing remnants of high-end upholstery fabrics to create one-of-a-kind, quality bags. Her passion for detail is evident not only in each handmade bag, but also in every piece that she designs and hand embroiders. Read their story
