Lesley Darling Fiber produces all-natural lifestyle goods using historical and contemporary techniques. From textiles to folk products, our goods are made with 100% natural fibers, natural folk plants, and are plastic free. We grow our own dyes when possible, and source organic and local ingredients. Lesley's hand-crafted curation of home and lifestyle goods is rooted in tradition, sustainability, and conscious living. Our Values: Environmental resiliency for our planet through traditional skills: We teach and share traditional skills contribute to environmental resiliency for the planet. What worked for 50,000 years can work again today. Folk traditions across the globe unite us: We have more in common than we know. Anti-racist practice is inseparable from any craft process, and we work to celebrate, honor, and amplify indigenous and makers of color. Credit will always be given where credit is due. Accessibility is one of our founding tenets: Natural fibers, dyes and products will ALWAYS be available to hard-working young people and our elders alike. Small business growth will not come at the expense of our planet: We limit and ditch plastics as much as feasibly possible. We pay more for 100% PC recycled stickers, we limit product packaging, and think hard before buying new.
