As a teacher and mum to two young children, Toni understands how important it is to make early mark-making fun! She began making crayons whilst on maternity leave in 2020, and hasn't looked back! It's Toni's aim, through Critter Crayons, to ensure that mark makers of all ages feel excited and inspired when using her beautiful, non-toxic crayons. Toni lives on the East Yorkshire coast, and just loves spending time outdoors with the family! It's this love of nature that is the inspiration behind most of her designs; whether your little one loves animals or leaves, birds or bugs, learning about the weather or learning to count... there's a crayon set that's just perfect waiting for everyone! Every single Critter Crayon is hand poured, hand polished, and boxed at Toni's home-based workshop by the sea. As a keen eco-warrior, Toni's packaging is all recyclable and compostable, whilst still being beautiful enough to make a really unique and exciting gift. Little ones are always absolutely delighted to see and use their Critter Crayons; it's always such a pleasure to watch their little hands as they explore the beautiful shapes and textures, and decide which sides angles work best (dinosaur tails are brilliant for small details, whilst chunky minibeast crayons are perfect for taking bark and leaf rubbings).
