About Ruby Jones
Ruby Jones designs and creates distinctive jewellery using the heritage skills of hand beadweaving and embroidery to create both every day and statement pieces. Her work incorporates her love of texture and colour, combining Japanese seed beads, Czech glass and hand dyed silk. Each piece is designed and made in her home studio. Ruby loves the simplicity of creating with just a needle. Beadweaving is an ancient craft with origins dating back over 5,000 years, using techniques including weaving, sewing, and stitching. Ruby uses those same techniques today to create modern, stylish and fun jewellery.
