At Chauncey’s we strive to be a culinary one stop shop. Through distinctive flavors and above industry standard service, we aim to offer memorable food experiences to the culinarily curious. Chef Melanie created Chauncey’s as a way to unleash her colorful, whimsical, artful perspective of culinary art and love. In 2016, with 15 years of culinary experience, Chef Melanie took her undeniable passion for food to the next level by bringing memorable meals and flamboyant flavors to the tables and kitchens of flavor seekers throughout the DMV & greater Baltimore area. Working all avenues of the foodservice and hospitality industry including executive chef, chef instructor, and spice blend curator; Chef Melanie came to learn that there is one thing that is absolutely undeniable about food. Much like math & science; FOOD IS A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE. Food is one of many important things that ALL people have in common. Regardless of race, religion, orientation, political views, social class, etc, we all have to eat! Since we all must, Chef Melanie lives, cooks, and creates with one thought in mind: why not make it memorable?
