A busy mom, an inspired daughter, and an avid dreamer. Hi there, I am Chakshu, and welcome to Ruhmee. We all have our stories, and today I will share with you a little bit of mine. A few years back, I was in a successful fashion career, enjoying my Friday nights and sleeping till late on my Sundays. Life was good, but something was missing. That void filled up, the day I held my baby girl in my arms for the first time. Her innocent little smile and fragile little body ignited the mama bear spirit in me. Suddenly, I became obsessed with my little one. She must have all the nice things, things that are not only good for her, but also good for the world she is growing up in. Things that are ethically sourced and have a story of their own. Limited things that can last her for a long time. Sometimes I was able to find them, but most of the time I struggled. As time passed by and we grew up together, her sense of wonder and curiosity kept inspiring me. The way she looked at me… as if I was all she got, took me back in time when I was my father’s little girl, mesmerised by his incredible talent of working with natural fabrics.
