About Janet Bell Gallery & Lifestyle Store

Janet Bell has been a professional artist since 2004 and opened Janet Bell Gallery & Lifestyle Store in November 2007, in Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey. Being half-Danish, and having lived most of her life in Wales, Ynys Môn (Anglesey), with its beaches, woods and views of Eryri (Snowdonia), was everything an artist could ask for in building a home and business. Janet’s artworks are now created in a dedicated studio space at her nearby home on the Island, where she continues to be inspired by the beauty of the Welsh landscape around her, and her Scandinavian heritage. Over the years, her style and techniques have expanded to incorporate different mediums and methods. Although known for her acrylic works, lock downs of 2020 and 2021 led to the creation of her Studio:b watercolour range and writing of Janet’s first book Five Miles; both a response to the limitations imposed that ultimately resulted in further growth.
