My name is Brianna Bakewell. I am the owner of Queen Bee Skincare, LLC. I started this company because I started paying attention to the ingredient lists in skincare products. The amount of chemicals and unnecessary/harmful ingredients was alarming. So, the research began. Day and night, figuring out what everything was, what it did, what it could do to my skin, etc. The main thing I found was that most of these chemicals we are willingly putting on our skin is not only harmful, but unnecessary. So, I decided to make my own. Once again, I dove back into my research. Figuring out the meaning of natural and organic, learning about different plant derived ingredients. I found the vast benefits of bee created products, such as raw honey. Not only is it filled with antioxidants, but it can also boost collagen production. It can also get rid of dirt and bacteria and has natural healing properties. So, after talking to local bee farmers and visiting hives, I decided that bee products should be added into everything I can offer.
